To whom it may concern;
I had the pleasure of working with Tommy Le, the owner of Top Quality Painting. I brought the motor yacht ShowTime into the yard facility in February 2015. Tommy has given me many quotes in the past years, and was waiting for the opportunity to give the yacht a full paint restoration. The yacht itself was way overdue for a paint job. The task of the full paint restoration is a huge responsibility, mainly between the captain and the owner of the painting company. There are always many uncertainties and very challenging task to say the least. Because the vessel had not been painted in so many years, the extent of blister damage was unusually high and increased the level of difficulty for everyone involved.
There were times when Tommy and I would sometimes have daily meetings on how to refit all of the new hardware back on the vessel. Literally thousands of parts were removed from the vessel, electronics, lights, equipment, and hardware both large and small. With the combined experience of Tommy and myself, we would solve problems and make new repairs, welding, sealing, and remounting of all new and refurbished hardware, so the likelihood of the blisters would not return. This process used up valuable time, but time well spent.
With a refit of such magnitude, it can easily have the potential that can lead to disagreements and arguments. This was not the case at all with Tommy his crew and mine, it was really quite amazing how well we all got along, working together, solving all the problems as they arose, to make a long lasting repair.
I have known Tommy Le for 16 years, I have referred many captains to Tommy Le. This is the second boat that Tommy has painted for me and his work is just outstanding. Throughout this last paint refit, our friendship is frown even stronger. Tommy is one of the few men these days that will give you his word man-to-man with a gentleman’s hand shake and will complete the task at hand with or without the need of leveraging contract. He will give you his word and standby it completely, without question or hesitation. I would refer Tommy Le to anyone in the search of painting any vessel.
